Graduate Certificate
Applicants for the graduate certificates must normally hold an approved degree or equivalent qualification from an approved tertiary institution. Applicants for the Graduate Certificate in Aged Care Administration and Graduate Certificate in Health Administration must have at least two yearsâ professional experience in the health or aged care sector following completion of their approved degree or equivalent qualification. Applicants without a degree, who have extensive work experience in the health or aged care sectors and are able to supply documentary evidence, may also be accepted for entry.
Applicants for the graduate diploma must normally hold an approved degree or equivalent qualification from an approved tertiary institution. Applicants for the Graduate Diploma in Health Administration must have at least two yearsâ professional experience in the health or aged care sector following completion of their approved degree or equivalent qualification. Applicants without a degree, who have extensive work experience in the health or aged care sectors and are able to supply documentary evidence, may also be accepted for entry.
Masters
Applicants for the masters degrees must normally hold an approved degree or equivalent qualification from an approved tertiary institution. Applicants for the Master of Health Administration and the Master of Science (Health Administration) must have at least four yearsâ professional experience in the health or aged care sector following completion of their approved degree or equivalent qualification. Graduates of the Flinders Graduate Certificate in Aged Care Administration, Graduate Certificate in Health Administration and Graduate Diploma in Health Administration may also be accepted for entry to the Master of Health Administration once they have gained at least four yearsâ professional experience.
Applicants for the Graduate Certificate in Clinical Rehabilitation, Graduate Diploma in Clinical Rehabilitation and Master of Clinical Rehabilitation (coursework or research) must normally hold an approved bachelor degree or equivalent qualification in a health-related field such as nursing, occupational therapy, physiotherapy or other allied health area.
Applicants who do not hold the Graduate Certificate in Clinical Rehabilitation must normally hold an approved degree or equivalent qualification and have not less than two years' postgraduate experience in a relevant clinical area.
Applicants who do not hold the Graduate Certificate in Clinical Rehabilitation or the Graduate Diploma in Clinical Rehabilitation must normally hold an approved degree or equivalent qualification from an approved tertiary institution and have not less than two years work experience in a relevant clinical area.
Applicants for the Master of Clinical Rehabilitation (Neurological Physiotherapy) must hold an approved physiotherapy degree or equivalent qualification from an approved tertiary institution, and have at least two yearsâ professional experience in a relevant clinical area. In addition, all applicants must be currently registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority as a physiotherapist, and maintain this registration for the duration of the course.
Applicants for the Master of Clinical Rehabilitation (Neurological Occupational Therapy) must hold an approved occupational therapy degree or equivalent qualification from an approved tertiary institution, and have not less than two yearsâ professional experience in a relevant clinical area. In addition, applicants must be currently registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (or the equivalent state body) as an occupational therapist, and maintain this registration for the duration of the course.
Masters (Coursework)
Applicants for the graduate certificate must normally hold an approved degree or equivalent qualification from an approved tertiary institution in a health-related field.
Applicants undertaking the nursing stream must have a minimum of one year post-registration experience, and must be currently registered with the Australian Health PractitionerRegulation Agency as a registered nurse, with no restrictions on practice.
Applicants for the graduate diploma must normally hold an approved degree or equivalent qualification from an approved tertiary institution in a health-related field.

Applicants must normally hold an approved degree or equivalent qualification from an approved tertiary institution and have achieved a grade point average (GPA) of 5.00 (credit) or greater.
Admission to the course is subject to the approval of your project, the college being able to provide appropriate resources, and the discipline area being able to provide suitable supervision for the program of study.
This course is unavailable in psychology due to accreditation and topic prerequisites.
Applicants will be required to submit directly to the University a research statement form for the 18-unit research thesis/ project component.
