Masters (Coursework)
Applicants must normally hold an approved bachelor degree or equivalent qualification from an approved tertiary institution.
Graduates already with a Bachelor of Education or Master of Teaching are specialised into English as a Second Language (ESL)/Languages Other than English (LOTE).
Students are strongly encouraged to check employment requirements and conditions with potential employers before enrolling in a TESOL course.
Graduate certificate
Applicants must normally hold an approved degree or equivalent qualification. However, the Dean (Education) may, under certain circumstances and subject to specific conditions, admit you entry to the postgraduate program.
Masters
Applicants may apply for an advanced entry (1.5 years) if you have completed an approved degree or equivalent qualification in education, teaching or a a closely related discipline.
Graduate Certificate
Applicants for the Graduate Certificate in Clinical Rehabilitation, Graduate Diploma in Clinical Rehabilitation and Master of Clinical Rehabilitation (coursework or research) must normally hold an approved bachelor degree or equivalent qualification in a health-related field such as nursing, occupational therapy, physiotherapy or other allied health area.
Graduate Diploma
Applicants who do not hold the Graduate Certificate in Clinical Rehabilitation must normally hold an approved degree or equivalent qualification and have not less than two years' postgraduate experience in a relevant clinical area.
Applicants who do not hold the Graduate Certificate in Clinical Rehabilitation or the Graduate Diploma in Clinical Rehabilitation must normally hold an approved degree or equivalent qualification from an approved tertiary institution and have not less than two years work experience in a relevant clinical area.
Applicants for the Master of Clinical Rehabilitation (Neurological Physiotherapy) must hold an approved physiotherapy degree or equivalent qualification from an approved tertiary institution, and have at least two yearsâ professional experience in a relevant clinical area. In addition, all applicants must be currently registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority as a physiotherapist, and maintain this registration for the duration of the course.
Applicants for the Master of Clinical Rehabilitation (Neurological Occupational Therapy) must hold an approved occupational therapy degree or equivalent qualification from an approved tertiary institution, and have not less than two yearsâ professional experience in a relevant clinical area. In addition, applicants must be currently registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (or the equivalent state body) as an occupational therapist, and maintain this registration for the duration of the course.
Applicants must normally hold a bachelor degree or equivalent qualification from an approved tertiary institution or have completed the Graduate Diploma in Business Administration.
Masters: Applicants must normally hold an approved bachelor degree or equivalent qualification from an approved tertiary institution.
Masters (1.5 Years): Applicants must normally hold a bachelor degree in education, teaching or a closely related discipline.
Applicants for the graduate certificate must normally hold an approved degree or equivalent qualification from an approved tertiary institution.
Applicants for the graduate diploma must normally hold an approved degree or equivalent qualification from an approved tertiary institution.
Alternatively, applicants must have completed the Graduate Certificate in Maritime Archaeology from Flinders University.
Applicants must normally hold an approved bachelor degree (or equivalent qualification) from an approved tertiary institution.
Masters (1.5 years)
Applicants must normally hold a bachelor degree or equivalent qualification in Archaeology; or hold an approved Graduate Certificate or Graduate Diploma (or equivalent qualification) in Archaeology (or a closely related discipline) from an approved tertiary institution; or hold an approved Honours degree in Archaeology (or a closely related discipline).
Applicants must normally hold an approved bachelor degree or equivalent qualification and must be registered nurses. Applicants for this pathway will be required to provide a brief statement indicating the area of research they would be interested in undertaking. Research projects are negotiated after admission to the course and are subject to approval and the Universityâs ability to provide suitable research supervision to students based on their proposed research topic.
Applicants must normally hold a Bachelor of Paramedic Science from Flinders University or equivalent qualification.
Applicants must normally hold an approved bachelor degree or equivalent in mathematics or statistics or a closely related discipline from an approved institution. Applicants with an approved degree that contains substantial mathematics or statistics (equivalent to at least second-year level mathematics topics at Flinders) are also eligible to apply. The Master of Science is not available to students who hold an honours degree in the same discipline.
Applicants must hold an approved bachelor degree or equivalent with a major in chemistry or a closely related discipline from an approved tertiary institution. The Master of Science is not available to students who hold an honours degree in the same discipline.
Graduate diploma applicants must normally hold an approved bachelor degree or equivalent qualification from an approved, recognised tertiary institution.
Masters has two levels of entry into the program. A two-year, 72-unit program is available to applicants with an approved bachelor degree. The one-year program offers a 36-unit program to applicants who have completed one of the following: an honours degree in womenâs/ gender studies, a four-year bachelor degree in womenâs/gender studies, a Graduate Diploma in Gender and Development, or an approved equivalent.
