Graduate diploma applicants must normally hold an approved bachelor degree or equivalent qualification from an approved, recognised tertiary institution.
Masters
Masters has two levels of entry into the program. A two-year, 72-unit program is available to applicants with an approved bachelor degree. The one-year program offers a 36-unit program to applicants who have completed one of the following: an honours degree in womenâs/ gender studies, a four-year bachelor degree in womenâs/gender studies, a Graduate Diploma in Gender and Development, or an approved equivalent.
Graduate Certificate
Applicants for the Graduate Certificate in Education (Languages Education) must normally hold an approved bachelor degree or equivalent qualification from an approved tertiary institution. In addition, applicants are normally required to have completed at least a minor sequence in any foreign language (including TESOL), consisting of four university-level topics covering first and second/third year levels undertaken over a minimum of two years of study, or have had at least one yearâs teaching experience in any foreign language in a school or other approved institution.

Applicants to the graduate certificate program must normally hold an approved degree or equivalent qualification in a health profession from an approved tertiary institution.
Applicants to the graduate diploma must normally hold an approved degree or equivalent qualification and must be registered nurses in Australia. Applicants who are registered as nurses in a country other than Australia must normally hold an approved degree or equivalent qualification and may be admitted.

Alternatively, applicants must have completed the Graduate Certificate in Maritime Archaeology from Flinders University.

Applicants must normally hold a nursing degree or equivalent qualification, be registered nurses, and have a minimum of one yearâs post-registration experience (six months of which must be in a relevant area).

In addition, whatever qualification is held, students are expected to be able to demonstrate previous study or recognised prior learning in communication and planning skills, mathematics (equivalent to first-year university mathematics), and science (equivalent to university undergraduate topics in chemistry and physics). Applicants for the Master of Education (Wellbeing and Positive Mental Health) will qualify for either 2-year or 1.5-year program. Applicants who hold an approved bachelor degree or equivalent qualification are eligible for the two-year program, and will complete up to 72 units of study. Applicants who hold a four-year bachelor degree in education, teaching or a closely related discipline are eligible for the 1.5-year program, and will complete up to 54 units of study.
Master of Arts (International Development)
For direct entry into the Master of Arts (International Development), applicants should hold an approved bachelor degree or equivalent qualification with a specialisation in a social sciences or humanities-related field.
Master of International Development
For direct entry into the Master of International Development, applicants must hold a recognised bachelor degree, with a GPA of 5.0 or higher, in a social sciences or humanities related field from an approved tertiary institution.
