This qualification allows individuals to develop post-trade skills and knowledge across a broad coverage of the industry prior to undertaking higher-level roles in the industry.
Certificate IV in Horticulture AHC40416 has a viticulture focus. Students will learn to identify and report signs of unusual diseases or pests, implement a crop regulation program, a pest management plan and report monitor quality assurance procedures.

Technical Requirements:
It is strongly recommended that Applicants are employed in the viticulture/wine industry prior to commencement. Where students are not actively employed on a vineyard they must obtain access to a case study vineyard.
Please note: The qualification is not suitable for direct entry from school.
