Before being accepted into the course applicants:

  • Undertake a pre-training review by interview to ensure the course suits students' needs and aspirations, and that they are likely to complete the course successfully.
  • Complete a Basic Key Skills Builder (BKSB) online test to ensure the required literacy & numeracy levels for the course are met.

Applicants must also have:

  • The ability to work autonomously.
  • Strong communication skills essential.
  • Physical skills appropriate to the job role.
  • Basic to intermediate computer skills.
  • Good understanding and use of the English language.

  • This is a physically demanding industry that requires long hours on your feet.
