This program is not available to applicants who hold a qualification in Nursing acceptable for registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) or Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA).

Advanced Standing Pathway is available for graduates of the Diploma of Nursing from an accredited Australian Education Provider with unconditional registration (without restrictions) as an Enrolled Nurse (Division 2), General with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) are eligible for the Diploma of Nursing pathway. Note that registration under the AHPRA Pandemic Response Sub Register is not accepted. Note: The Diploma of Nursing Pathway is not available in Trimester 1 2023.

To be eligible for admission to the Master of Mental Health Practice, a student must have completed:

• a Bachelor degree in a health/allied health discipline such as nursing, social work, psychology, occupational therapy, pharmacy, speech pathology, medicine, dentistry, or other human services field with a minimum GPA of 4.0 (using a 7.0 scale);
• OR a Bachelor degree with Honours, Graduate Certificate or Graduate Diploma qualification in a human services field with a minimum GPA of 4.0 (using a 7.0 scale);
• OR the Graduate Certificate in Mental Health Practice (3232) from Griffith University with a minimum GPA of 4.0 (using a 7.0 scale) (successful applicants will be eligible for 40 credit points of advanced standing).

As the number of applicants may exceed the Commonwealth Supported Places available in the program, selection for admission is competitive and will be based upon past academic performance and the relevance of previously completed tertiary studies and work experience. To be eligible for a Commonwealth Supported Place, applicants are required to submit past academic transcripts and a curriculum vitae. You also have the opportunity to provide additional supporting documentation (personal statement of up to 500 words plus supporting evidence) if you consider that your past GPA was adversely impacted by significant circumstances such as poverty, homelessness, mental or physical ill-health, or family violence. If you are not successful in gaining a Commonwealth Supported Place, you may be eligible for a Fee-Paying Postgraduate place.

To be eligible for admission to the Graduate Certificate in Cyber Security, an applicant must:

• hold a Bachelor degree or Bachelor Honours degree in Information Technology or Computer Science or equivalent from a recognised University (or another tertiary education institution of equivalent standing) with a minimum GPA of 4.0 (using a 7.0 point scale)
• OR have a minimum of five years equivalent full-time professional work experience in a relevant field.

To be eligible for admission to the Graduate Certificate in Global Development, a student must:

• hold any Bachelor degree (or higher) from a recognised University (or another tertiary education institution of equivalent standing) with a minimum GPA of 4.0 (using a 7.0 scale) OR
• have a minimum of three years equivalent full-time professional work or relevant work experience
• have a combination of alternative admission criteria such as formal, informal and non-formal learning deemed to be equivalent to either of the above.

This program is quota managed for which there is a limited number of places available to ensure that sufficient resources are available to support the students. Meeting the admission requirements for this program may not result in an applicant receiving an admission offer.

To be eligible for admission to the Graduate Certificate in Cyber Crime, an applicant must:

• hold a Bachelor degree or equivalent from a recognised University (or another tertiary education institution of equivalent standing) with a minimum GPA of 4.0 (using a 7.0 point scale)
• OR have a minimum of five years equivalent full-time professional work experience in a relevant field.

To be eligible for admission to the Master of Rehabilitation Counselling, an applicant must have completed:

• a Bachelor degree from an allied health field such as vocational rehabilitation, psychology, exercise science, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, occupational health nursing, human services, social work, industrial relations, human resource management, occupational health and safety and successful interview with the Program Director
• OR a Bachelor Honours degree, Graduate Certificate, Graduate Diploma or Masters from a different discipline area and successful interview with the Program Director
• OR the Graduate Certificate in Case Management (3050) or a Graduate Certificate or Graduate Diploma qualification in an allied health field such as vocational rehabilitation, psychology, exercise science physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, occupational health nursing, human services, social work, industrial relations, human resource management, occupational health and safety with a GPA of at least 5.0 and successful interview with the Program Director (successful applicants will be eligible for 40 credit points of advanced standing).

To be eligible for admission to this Graduate Certificate, a student must:

• hold any Bachelor degree (or higher) from a recognised University (or another tertiary education institution of equivalent standing) with a minimum GPA of 4.0 (using a 7.0 point scale); and have a minimum of three years equivalent full-time work experience post-degree which includes
• two years of relevant work experience and
• one year in a role demonstrating leadership experience
• OR have a minimum of five years equivalent full-time professional work experience in a relevant field; which includes two years in a role demonstrating leadership experience
• OR have a combination of alternative admission criteria such as formal, informal and non-formal learning deemed to be equivalent to either of the above.

Leadership can include direct supervisory experience and/or change management in an organisational or project-specific setting.

Evidence of work experience must include a detailed work history (roles, responsibilities and achievements).

Upon request, applicants may be asked to provide:

• An Applicant Statement of Leadership Experience (maximum 750 words). To demonstrate relevance of work experience, applicants will need to provide a statement detailing examples of applied leadership skills and how their experiences will be complemented by the Graduate Certificate in Leadership & Management program along with a sound knowledge of the Griffith Business School values.

An applicant for admission as a PhD candidate shall hold:

• a Bachelor degree with first-class honours or second-class honours (Division A) or a Masters degree, incorporating a significant research component, from a recognised institution; or
• a record of research, or a qualification granted by a professional or other body deemed by the Dean, Griffith Graduate Research School, to be of a standard comparable to a Bachelor degree with second-class honours (Division A).

To be eligible for admission to this Graduate Certificate program, applicants must have:

• a bachelors degree (or equivalent) and preferably with full-time teaching experience.
