Certificate
The Certificate III in Automotive and Marine Trimming Technology provides comprehensive training for apprentices in motor vehicle and boat interior trimming.
As this is an apprenticeship delivery, all students must have an employer and a valid Apprenticeship Contract in place prior to commencement.
Although not compulsory, successful completion of Year 10 is recommended.
The course covers: removing and replacing vehicle interiors, sewing and trimming, fabricating components, carrying out repairs to automotive and marine trim. You'll also gain essential skills in welding and soldering.
You may be able to reduce the number of units to be studied in your chosen course by measuring skills acquired through work, life experiences or qualifications obtained from formal studies or training. AQF qualifications and statements of attainment issued by another registered training organisation will be recognised by Holmesglen.
