Certificate
The Certificate III in Prepress Graphic Design Production is designed for employed apprentices who work in a digital design and output environment.
As this is an apprenticeship delivery, Prior to enrolment or commencement of training the student will be required to have an Epsilon registration and signed
contract with an employer and a signed training plan with Holmesglen.
Prior to enrolment or commencement of training applicants are required to complete a literacy and numeracy assessment and a pre-training review. These will assist with determining suitability to the course, verify the training plan and identify any learning support needs.
You will learn the skills to be a pre-media tradesperson.Typically they design and prepare layouts and artwork, manipulate images and text to meet production and design requirements and apply solutions to a range of problems associated with the print medium.
This accredited program is made up of 21 units that have been chosen by Holmesglen based on feedback from industry and staff qualifications. Our qualified and experienced trainers offer personalised support to suit your needs. If you have already completed one or more of these units before, these may be counted towards the completion of this course.
You may be able to reduce the number of units to be studied in your chosen course by measuring skills acquired through work, life experiences or qualifications obtained from formal studies or training. AQF qualifications and statements of attainment issued by another registered training organisation will be recognised by Holmesglen.
