Applicants to this course must be aged 18 or over and are required to have:

There are no placement requirements for this qualification. Instead, the practical application and skills-based learning will be facilitated through simulation assessment activities, where hired actors will play the role of clients, service users and NDIS participants.

Please note that employment in the Community Services sector may require the following:
- a valid Working with Children Check
- a clear National Criminal History (Police) Check
- a clear NDIS Worker Screening Check (may include or replace a Police Check)

Prior to enrolment or commencement of training you will be required to complete a literacy and numeracy assessment and a pre-training interview.

These will assist with determining your suitability to the course, verify your training plan, and identify any learning support needs..
