The Certificate IV in Conservation and Land Management will give you experience in planning and implementing a range of conservation and land management projects including mapping and biodiversity projects, inspection and monitoring cultural places, re-vegetation projects, plant identification, pest plant and animal management, developing interpretive activities, fauna management, and flora and fauna identification.
There are no entry requirements for this qualification.
Prior to enrolment or commencement of training you will be required to complete a literacy and numeracy assessment and a pre-training interview. These will assist with determining your suitability to the course, verify your training plan, and identify any learning support needs.
Completion of language, literacy and numeracy testing prior to the pre-training review.
This course highlights the importance of classroom based learning and practical field based work.
Students will develop an understanding of environmental issues and work closely with industry as part of annual works programs through weekly field trips.

You may be able to shorten the length of your chosen course by measuring skills acquired through work, life experiences or qualifications obtained from formal studies or training.
