Students wanting to study backflow CPCPWT4022B must first achieve competency in CPCPWT4011B
In Gas, students wanting to study CPCPGS4022A must first prove competency in CPCPGS4011C.
Prior to enrolment or commencement of training you will be required to complete a literacy and numeracy assessment and a pre-training interview. These will assist with determining your suitability to the course, verify your training plan, and identify any learning support needs.
Featuring Victorian Building Authority Licence competencies, this Certificate IV program aligns with the needs of a plumbing contractor offering a certificate to graduates in this category. Students seeking a full certificate must complete 12 core units and 3 elective units.
The program can also serve plumbers who wish only to gain specific competencies in order to apply for individual categories of VBA licence.
Those students must gain core competencies of Carry out work based risk control processes, Establish legal and risk requirement of small business and Costing and Estimating. VBA licences may then include Water Supply, Roof plumbing, Drainage, Gasfitting, Mechanical and Sanitary Plumbing.
