Entry requirements

To be eligible, students must be at least 16 years of age.

Mature attitude and approach to study; good communication; organisational and technical skills; ability and desire to work face to face with customers; smart presentation and grooming; and ability to work well under pressure and within a team environment.

Participants require sufficient computer skills to enable them to engage with the teacher for their scheduled virtual classroom periods using the video conferencing software program WebEx.

As this course is delivered as a remote delivery program in a virtual classroom environment, you are required to use a computer or laptop (under 5 years old) fitted with a video conferencing camera with a stable high-speed broadband internet connection. Tablets are not suitable to undertake this course.

Prior to enrolment or commencement of training you will be required to complete a literacy and numeracy assessment and a pre-training interview.

These will assist with determining your suitability to the course, verify your training plan, and identify any learning support needs.
