Construction Induction Card (CPCWHS1001 Prepare to work safely in the construction industry)
At least 12 months' work experience in civil construction or relevant industry
Mobile plant ticket for at least one of front end loader, skid steer, roller or excavator
Current employment in relevant industry and referral from employer
Meet LLN entry levels.
A pre training review will be conducted which covers the entry requirements.
The program includes
- Understanding and following work instructions, procedures and other requirements
- Hazard identification and implementation of controls
- Selecting and inspecting an excavator. Responding to faults
- Operating an excavator to perform designated tasks
- Fitting and using attachments for various operations including lifting and carrying
- Making the excavator safe at the end of the shift-
- Reporting
