The Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care course prepares individuals to become skilled educators responsible for creating, executing and assessing early childhood education and care programs. It offers a flexible, part-time, blended delivery course structure, similar to a traineeship. Enrolling in this course can open up opportunities for a fulfilling career in this rewarding industry.
Applicant must hold a:
* CHC30121 Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
Or
* CHC30113 Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care.
Students must be employed in a Registered Education and Care Service for a minimum of 13 hours per week
A current Working With Children's Check card is required.
Prior to enrolment or commencement of training you will be required to complete a literacy and numeracy assessment and a pre-training interview. These will assist with determining your suitability to the course, verify your training plan, and identify any learning support needs.

As a graduate, you will be equipped to take on leadership roles in early childhood education, including supervising staff and volunteers, and potentially advancing to positions such as Early Childhood Service Director or Coordinator.
You may be able to reduce the number of units to be studied in your chosen course by measuring skills acquired through work, life experiences or qualifications obtained from formal studies or training.
