The Operate Elevated Work Platforms (up to 11m), is designed for all employees working in civil construction operating roles. It provides the skills and knowledge to competently and safely operate an elevated work platform on which personnel, equipment and materials may be elevated to perform work.
Participants need to hold a White Card or have the competency of CPCWHS1001 - Prepare to work safely in the construction industry.
Minimum age is 17 years old or demonstrated work experience if age is under 17.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Long pants, long sleeve shirt and safety boots to be worn during training.
A pre-training review will determine your suitability to the course.
You will learn from experienced trainers providing practical, hands-on training.
You will learn to:
plan and prepare for operating an elevated work platform
operate an elevation platform in a competent way to complete work safely
conduct housekeeping activities.
If you need to operate an elevated work platform higher that 11m, you require a High Risk Work (HRW) Licence. Holmesglen also offers the
CONISS016 Licence to Operate a Boom-type Elevate Work Platform (Boom length 11m or more) course.
