The Trenching and Shoring Skill Set provides participants with the knowledge and skills needed to undertake trench support installation in a safe manner. In this program, participants will learn about soils and ground types, trenches, benching, battering, and correct installation; the removal of trench support; and directing plant while ensuring a safe working environment.

Entry requirements

Participants must hold a White Card or have the competency of CPCCWHS1001 - Prepare to work safely in the construction industry.

Participants must complete a language and literacy test before attending class.
