This skill set describes the skills and knowledge required to transport, handle, store, prepare and apply chemicals.

Three day course, completing the follow two units:

  • AHCCHM304 Transport and store chemicals
  • AHCCHM307 Prepare and apply chemicals to control pest, weeds and diseases

There are no prerequisites for this course. However, it is recommended that you have satisfactory numeracy and literacy skills to undertake this course or are mature age and have sufficient work experience to successfully undertake the course.

Applications from mature-aged students with work experience in a related field are encouraged.
