About this course

All people performing construction work in Victoria require proof that they have completed a general OHS construction induction skill set for the industry. This skill set meets the requirement of the Occupational Health and Safety Regulations 2007 and allows workers to be registered with WorkSafe.

Upon successful completion you will be able to demonstrate personal awareness of OHS legislative requirements and the basic principles of risk management and prevention of injury and illness in the construction industry. The skill set includes the issue of a Construction Induction Card from WorkSafe on successful completion of the program.

Our course delivery features a combination of on-campus and remote (online) learning. This flexibility allows our students to continue to study in a safe, guided and supported manner.

Entry requirements

All applicants for this skill set will complete an assessment to evaluate their language, literacy and numeracy (LLN) skills. This helps to ensure that you enrol in a skill set that is the right level of study for you.
