This business degree provides an accounting specialisation in a broader business context and offers learning in career-specific areas including accounting, auditing, business law, finance, forensic accounting and taxation. Successful completion of the appropriate subjects may support the membership entry requirements for CPA Australia or the Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ). You can select advanced subjects in Management, Marketing, Finance and Economics. The three Essentials – Global Citizenship, Innovation and Entrepreneurship and Sustainability Thinking – are specialist areas designed to give you an edge with employers. They will enable you to adapt your knowledge and skills to new contexts in a rapidly changing world. Subjects addressing the Essentials are part of all undergraduate La Trobe degrees and can be identified in the subject database by distinct icons. The list of approved subjects is also on the Essentials webpageFor more information on majors offered from outside the Business School link to Optional Second Majors.
