The Bachelor of Creative Arts at the Melbourne (Bundoora) campus comprises three (separate, but related) Majors: Screen; Writing; and Theatre. Core degree subjects at each year level of study introduce students to the foundational theories and practices of the creative arts and its related industries. These subjects also offer opportunities to work across the discipline majors of the degree and to collaborate with creative arts students on other campuses (and in other creative disciplines, such as visual arts). Each of the separate majors offers a core program of disciplinary study focused on creative practice, both in terms of production and analysis and opportunities are offered throughout the degree for the public exhibition, publication and performance of student work. The Bachelor of Creative Arts can be taken either as a pass degree or with honours. If taken full-time, the pass degree is designed to be completed within three years.
