About this course

This is a five year combined degree providing a professional qualification in Law as well as a degree in Psychology. The program offers an innovative, high quality legal education with a global and social justice perspective and a real emphasis on hands-on experiences. You will be able to complete the business subjects and all core law subjects at Bendigo. You are able to undertake law elective subjects at the Melbourne Campus in both Summer and Winter Semesters and participate in our study abroad options. For information about law electives please refer to the list and information set out under the Law Electives page. Please see the University's Subject Search guide for electives offered in 2019. The program includes all the compulsory law subjects required by the Victorian Legal Admissions Board for admission to the legal profession in Victoria and a wide range of law electives (in Melbourne), many with a practical skills component, including the Clinical Legal Education subjects. Bendigo students may be able to complete one law clinic placement subject at Bendigo, LAW2RRJ. It also includes a compulsory specialised law subject relevant to Psychology, Mental Disorder and Criminal Responsibility. The Bachelor of Psychological Science degree provides students with broad knowledge and skills in Psychology as well as biological and social aspects of behaviour but does not qualify a graduate to work as a psychologist.
