La Trobe's Diploma of Information Technology is designed to be a supported pathway into your dream IT degree or set you up to enter the industry in an entry level role.
Build a strong foundation in core IT subjects - think programming and cybersecurity - that'll prepare you for your next degree. You'll study alongside Bachelor's degree students from day one and get a taste of university life.
Depending on the subjects you've studied, you could graduate from the Diploma of Information Technology with up to one year's worth of course credit - known as advanced standing. This could allow you to transfer directly into the second year of your chosen IT degree. Choose from La Trobe's Bachelor of Computer Science, Bachelor of Cybersecurity or Bachelor of Information Technology. Alternatively, you may prefer to take your new skills directly into the workforce. It's up to you.
