The Illustration stream of the Diploma of Visual Arts CUA51120 includes advanced training in traditional studio techniques such as; drawing, illustration and digital imaging, applied history and theory, and business and professional practice skills. You'll learn to critically analyse information with opportunities to expand on complex ideas for your own work. We offer specialist studios, dedicated classrooms for each subject area, and gallery spaces to ensure that you are supported in your creative endeavours.

You'll also have many opportunities throughout the year to grow your professional networks through industry forums, guest speakers and workshops, as well as your industry-sponsored graduate exhibition.

  • Certificate IV in Visual Arts or demonstrated equivalent skills or knowledge

  • all applicants selected by interview/folio presentation
  • Attend an interview. Interviews for Visual Arts courses will resume in September for courses starting in 2022.
