About this course

In the fast-moving world of packaged goods, the chances of a new product surviving beyond its first year are slim. At the Monash Food Innovation Centre, we've developed an award-winning methodology to better the odds for packaged goods

In this interactive three-day boot camp, you'll learn best-in-class innovation methods, tools and approaches - from ideation, design and visualisation using 3D imagery, to prototyping. We'll challenge you to test your new product development idea against a real-world case study.

This three-day boot camp program brings together the best in theory and practice, in a world-class, working innovation centre. Through experiential, fast-paced, and fun live experience sessions, you'll engage in a mix of content delivery, guided discussions, hands-on new product development, and moments of reflection.

The program culminates with you pitching your new product development idea in a group context to a former commercial buyer - an invaluable opportunity to put your new skills and knowledge into practice.

If you're an individual or a business looking to explore product innovation and develop the skills, knowledge, and insights on how to bring your concept to fruition - this program is ideal for you.

This three-day boot camp runs 27-29 October from 9am-5pm.
