The Certificate I in Visual Arts provides participants with the fundamental creative and technical skills that underpin visual arts and craft practices. Throughout this course, students will develop basic skills in utilising the appropriate mediums for different genres of work, and the safe use of art products in the industry.

There are a great many opportunities within the art area from production of small local products to be sold in markets, pop-up shop initiatives, art competitions, art as an engagement pathway for other non-profit organisations, as well as production of works available through local galleries to large works such as paintings, jewellery, ephemeral installations, public art and sculptures for the community and local organisations.
