This qualification is perfect for you if you want to be an automotive technician or light vehicle service mechanic.

Undertaken as part of an apprenticeship,

you will gain skills and knowledge to perform a broad range of tasks on a variety of light vehicles

including diagnosis and repair, braking systems, transmissions, servicing, suspension, and workplace safety and health.

This qualification develops existing workers and prepares new employees for work in the light vehicle servicing and repair industry.

Training is delivered in modern workshop facilities with industry standard tools and equipment, on actual vehicles.
