The Certificate III in Visual Arts provides participants with the practical skills to utilise appropriate mediums for different genres of work. Students will gain introductory skills in art theory and history, and investigate and create original works which reflect their responses to the inspiration and research undertaken.
This qualification will set you up with the basic creative and technical skills of visual arts and crafts practice. It's the perfect way to hone your skills and creativity ready for a career in a range of areas.
Throughout this course, students will complete knowledge questions and practical tasks, and present concepts underpinned by the unit of competencies.
Classes are often held in the evenings and depend upon industry demand. It is recommended to complete one or two units only per term.
