There is a growing demand for skilled community services workers in the North West to support the increase in community services agencies. Community services workers require a diverse set of skills to respond to increasingly complex client care needs, provide crisis support, manage caseloads, develop programs and prevention and intervention strategies.
This qualification provides you with the skills to develop, implement and evaluate programs, secure and manage funding, case-manage clients in a community services setting, and lead a community services team. Throughout this course, you will develop specialised skills in community services care and gain the knowledge to support colleagues in a supervisory or team management capacity.
You will undertake training in three sections: program development, case management and team leadership. This course provides an affordable entry pathway into university study in an approved social work degree.
