Elevated Work Platform Skill Set

The EWP Skill Set is a three day course where you will learn how to operate an EWP safely and efficiently in accordance with all relevant legislative requirements.

Undertaking theory and practical activities, participants will be guided through the operation of an EWP, ensuring:

• hazards and risk elimination/control strategies
• conduct routine checks
• set up an elevating work platform
• operate an elevating work platform in a safe manner
• safely shut down and secure the elevating work platform.

The three-day course may also be shortened with prior industry knowledge or machine experience.

Upon successful completion, participants will receive a Statement of Attainment. NR TAFE will submit an Application for High Risk Work Licence (Class WP) on your behalf, providing all requirements are met.
