What you will learn

You will complete two degrees in four years concurrently. This is made up of four common communication units that equip you with the essential skills and knowledge for careers in the communication industries as well as choosing one major area of study. Choose your major from:

  • Digital Media
  • Entertainment Industries
  • Journalism
  • Professional Communication.

Note: The Bachelor of Communication - Advertising and Public Relations Major is not available in the double degree.

Through the Data Science degree core units you will cover the theory and the practical tools for data acquisition, storage, management, processing, analysis and visualisation. Ethical considerations, communication, collaboration and critical thinking skills are all given detailed coverage.

Your progression through the Data Science degree has been carefully crafted to cater for the diversity of specialist mathematics skills, to scaffold your development in coding - particularly in data science relevant languages - and to prepare you for a rewarding career.
