Nurses and paramedics have employment opportunities in a range of community-based emergency health and welfare agencies. This course combines two complementary areas of clinical care which will give you the opportunity for greater flexibility in the workforce. Graduates of this course will have completed all areas of nursing required for practise as a nurse in Australia and New Zealand. Graduates are also eligible for employment as ambulance paramedics with the Queensland Ambulance Service and national and international agencies.
Professional recognitionThis course is accredited by the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Accreditation Council. Graduates are eligible to apply for registered nurse status with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
This course is also accredited by the Council of Ambulance Authorities and graduates are eligible for membership with Paramedics Australasia and the Australian and New Zealand College of Paramedicine.
