This program is open to applicants who have not previously studied at university and do not have a completed Certificate III or higher qualification.

The program is not available to current/recent secondary school students.

The University Preparation Program is a pre-entry pathway that aims to introduce you to university-style learning in a supportive environment. You will benefit from additional contact hours with experienced QUT educators in smaller class sizes allowing a more personalised learning experience.

The program covers information technology skills research and writing processes and a wide range of interpersonal communication skills.

You'll also be introduced to life at QUT and have access to course and career advice to help you make informed decisions about what your next study option is.
