Certificate IV in Disability will give you a real life hands-on experience of working with people with disabilities. Our course is structured to give you the best possible knowledge through training both at the TAFE campus and workplace experiences.

Entry requirements

Applicants must hold a qualification in Certificate III in Individual Support (disability stream) as an entry requirement to this course.

You must be 18 years of age at the commencement of the course. You must be able to produce a NDIS worker screening check prior to placement.

In accordance with Department of Health directives, all disability workers must be vaccinated against COVID-19 as a condition of employment. This includes volunteers and students on placement. Therefore as part of the enrolment process for this course you must provide evidence of your COVID-19 vaccination status. South West TAFE will be required to retain a copy of this evidence on your student file.

  5. Sign - once you've completed your enrolment, you will receive a declaration form to review and sign.
