Certificate
On completion of this qualification, graduates will have developed the skills to work with diverse people and to support and work alongside other health care professionals to provide effective and holistic care to individuals in the aged, and home and community sectors. Students will graduate with solid industry experience and will have a well-rounded understanding of the needs of clients in these sectors.
To be awarded this qualification, students will complete 13 units (seven core and six electives) and successfully complete a practical placement of 120 hours. The course has been structured so that students graduate with the Certificate III in Individual Support, with a dual specialisation in Aged and Home and Community.
Credit is granted in recognition of previous study and/or experience and allows students to gain advanced standing towards their course. Applicants are assessed on a case-by-case basis. Learn more about credit.
