About this course

 
The Certificate IV in Digital and Interactive Games is suitable for those who want to learn game theory and how to create interactive games, 3D characters, environments, and games assets and user interfaces. Students also learn 2D concept art, 2D and 3D animation, game development, programming in the Unreal game engine, and game design documentation. The course provides students with the skills and knowledge to become concept artists, 3D modellers, animators, and game developers.

Mid-year option
This IT program commencing mid-year is an entry level course into the IT industry and is also designed to facilitate passage into the Diploma of Digital and Interactive Games (ICT50215) in the following year. Completion of the Certificate IV will require participation in a Summer School in December, January and February.

Students are required to complete 16 units (four core units and 12 electives).
