About this course

The Certificate IV in Human Resources is a practical, hands-on course that prepares those who complete for a range of operational and support roles in HR. The course is suitable for anyone wanting to enter the HR field as well as existing HR professionals and payroll officers who want to expand their level of HR generalist knowledge. Other staff required to support HR functions, such as line managers and team leaders, would also benefit from the opportunity to develop practical HR skills.

The course is interactive, which is typical of most positions in HR. Your teachers will be looking for your involvement in face-to-face class time. Industry interactions form a fundamental part of the course as well as the availability of a one-year paid student membership to the Australian Human Resources Institute (AHRI) for all students.
