The Certificate IV of Information Technology provides the skills and knowledge to administer and manage information and communication technology (ICT) in small-to-medium enterprises (SMEs) using a wide range of web focused ICT technologies. Graduates working at this level are able to provide a wide range of technical skills in ICT areas such as web design and web development. This course is focused on students learning current industry practices in web design, content creation and web development.

Graduates of this course will develop skills to work in roles such as web UI designer, UX design, digital content creator, web animator, front-end programmer. They will demonstrate the skills required for working as part of a website project team in any of the roles required for front-end web design and development.

Course structure

Students are required to complete 20 units, including five core units and 15 elective units.
