About this course

The Certificate IV in Social Housing is ideal for people who work in delivering social housing services and support to tenants, residents, applicants and the community, including clients who are experiencing homelessness or at risk of experiencing homelessness. This delivery model is structured to suit those already working in the housing or homelessness sector. It is 12 months duration with study undertaken in a blended model with online delivery, compulsory monthly Saturday workshops, and practical assessment in the student's workplace.

Career pathways

On completion of this qualification, graduates will be expected to work under limited supervision in an administrative and/or assisting capacity in delivering housing support services in the social housing sector.

Course structure

To be awarded this qualification, students need to complete and be deemed competent in 15 units (8 core and 7 electives).
