Diploma of Health Science (UniLink) (8 months)

Students who successfully complete this course will be able to:

• develop critical analysis skills to enable effective communication in workplace and academic environments
• develop and display the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
• think logically and creatively within the health science context
• conduct research and present findings in both written and oral formats
• apply mathematical and statistical techniques to a range of scientific applications
• understand the core principles of health science theory, research and practice.

To qualify for the award of the Diploma of Health Science (UniLink) (8 months), students must successfully complete 100 credit points comprising:

• 7 core units (87.5 credit points)
• 1 elective unit (12.5 credit points)

Assessment may include a range of formal and informal tasks, including individual and group projects, assignments, presentations and examinations.

Credit is granted in recognition of previous study and/or experience and allows students to gain advanced standing towards their course. Applicants are assessed on a case-by-case basis. Learn more about credit.
