About this course

The course at PAVE is interactive and engaging, with students getting involved in many 'real-life' HR situations. Your teachers will be working closely with you in your face-to-face class time and will challenge you with the sorts of activities and projects that you might encounter in the world of HR.

Industry interactions are a fundamental part of the course. PAVE students are eligible to a one-year paid student membership to the Australian Human Resources Institute (AHRI), and can benefit from the resources and networks that AHRI provides.

Industry experts also address PAVE students and provide insights into life in HR. Previous HR speakers from major Melbourne companies were well-received and students found themselves even more motivated to succeed following these sessions.

Students also engage with industry with site visits, such as to Deloitte, Ernst and Young and other employers of choice. An annual tour of the Fair Work Commission provides valuable insights into the working of this important aspect of HR.

Our students are mentored and given considerable career and study support to succeed and be ready for either the workforce or further study.
