Diploma
Landscape design is a broad discipline which involves working creatively with plants and outdoor spaces. This course combines visual and creative skills with practical and technical aspects of landscape, permaculture, business and planting design. This course is designed for people who are looking for a career as a landscape designer or individuals who are involved in horticulture or landscape businesses and wish to upgrade their professional skills and knowledge.
The course involves 12 units of study (four core and eight elective units). Most units involve a combination of classes and online collaborate sessions. Some weekend classes and/or field trips are scheduled for certain units.
Credit is granted in recognition of previous study and/or experience and allows students to gain advanced standing towards their course. Applicants are assessed on a case-by-case basis. Learn more about credit.
