About this course

The Master of Digital Business Management is an advanced program of study that is designed to foster and develop the knowledge and capabilities of highly skilled managers who will work with information technology in management decision-making during their careers. Our graduates are leaders in digital business, technology and entrepreneurship who are setting the strategic direction of digital business enterprises, leading innovation and ICT management in existing businesses and industries and who are developing a new era of technology companies and applications.

The degree combines the knowledge and theory of contemporary information systems management with an understanding of new and emerging digital technologies, new business models, and new ways of organising, analysing and communicating information. Students will learn about the methodologies and approaches that are applied in businesses to develop new IT enabled services, plan digital business initiatives for organisations, work with business intelligence technologies and have the opportunity to apply current methods for IT innovation development to real-world cases and projects.

This course is for working professionals. That's why we offer it in Intensive Mode. It's an efficient and faster way to complete a postgraduate qualification with minimal impact on your professional and personal life. Units (subjects) are either delivered after work hours or on Fridays or Saturdays, and run throughout the year in six week teaching periods instead of the usual 12 week semesters. This means you can complete more units and graduate faster, or take breaks when you need to.

Course structure

To qualify for the award of Master of Digital Business Management, students must complete 12 units (150 credit points) comprising of:

  • 9 core units (112.5 credit points)
  • 3 Elective units (37.5 credit points)

A student may only take out one masters award from a nested suite that contains two levels of master.Maximum Academic CreditThe maximum level of credit that can be granted for the Master of Digital Business Management is 75 credit points (normally six units)

Credit for prior study or work
