The Master of Digital Business Management (Advanced) is an advanced program of study that is designed to foster and develop the knowledge and capabilities of highly skilled managers who will work with information technology in management decision-making during their careers. Our graduates are leaders in digital business, technology and entrepreneurship who are setting the strategic direction of digital business enterprises, leading innovation and ICT management in existing businesses and industries and who are developing a new era of technology companies and applications. The degree combines the knowledge and theory of contemporary information systems management with an understanding of new and emerging digital technologies, new business models, and new ways of organising, analysing and communicating information. Students will learn about the methodologies and approaches that are applied in businesses to develop new IT-enabled services, plan digital business initiatives for organisations, work with business intelligence technologies and have the opportunity to apply current methods for IT innovation development to real-world cases and projects.
This postgraduate program provides a unique opportunity for students to gain specialised knowledge of information systems and digital business management through research. In the research component, students have the opportunity to apply and extend the knowledge gained throughout their studies by understanding and applying the research process. This option is intended for students who want to focus on a particular area of their career or consultancy, or as preparation for their PhD.Students may consider master degree options including:
