Certificate
A Certificate III in Hospitality (Traineeship) allows you to complete a recognised qualification and work in industry under paid employment at the same time. To enrol as a trainee, you must be employed in industry on a part-time or full-time basis and have a Commonwealth Government Training Contract in place.

Get the skills and knowledge required to become job ready for a variety of hospitality settings. You will gain hands on skills in the areas of espresso coffee making, mixing of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, food and beverage waiting, including full table service.
Did you know: The Victorian Government has now made Free TAFE courses even more accessible for new students enrolling for study in 2023. All Free TAFE courses at TAFE Gippsland are now available to people with higher-level qualifications and those who have completed a previous Free TAFE course and are looking to continue in their selected training pathway. Our trainers will pass on their industry knowledge in all areas of customer service and food and beverage day to day operations. You will learn all of the basics of food and beverage hygiene and workplace safety, making you confident and ready to step into one of Australia's largest, and most flexible industries.
