Do you aspire to work in one of Australia's best restaurants? Mix drinks in a busy night club bar? or simply provide food and beverage service skills at your local venue? if you answered yes to any of these, then Certificate III in Hospitality is the course for you!

This course will provide you with the skills and knowledge required to become job ready for a variety of hospitality settings. You will gain hands on skills in the areas of espresso coffee making, mixing of alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages, food and beverage waiting, including full table service.

Our trainers will pass on their industry knowledge in all areas of customer service and food and beverage day to day operations. You will learn all of the basics of food and beverage hygiene and work place safety, making you confident and ready to step into one of Australia's largest, and most flexible industries.

A Certificate III in Hospitality (Traineeship) allows you to complete a recognised qualification and work in industry under paid employment at the same time. To enrol as a Trainee, you must be employed in industry and have a Commonwealth Government Training Contract in place. You may be employed as a Trainee on a part-time or full-time basis.

Entry requirements

  • There are no entry requirements for this qualification for Certifcate III in Hospitlaity (Non Apprentice).
  • However, if you're thinking of enrolling in Certificate III in Hospitality as a part time or full time trainee, then you must be employed in industry and have a Commonwealth Government Training Contract in place.

  • School Based Traineeships or Head Start Traineeships must be enrolled in either in VCE or VCE VM.
