A Massage Therapist (MT) may be self-employed or work within a larger health service organisation along side other heath professionals. They would have a limited ability to have health rebate for health providers and work in conjunction with other health care professionals. They will have the ability to upskill and complete the Diploma of Remedial massage in a shortened time frame due to credit transfers of 13 units into the course. This Certificate IV qualification reflects the role of Massage Therapists (MT) who would provide general health maintenance treatments referring to the musculoskeletal system. It does not reflect the role of a Remedial Massage Therapist
