This Australian Community Workers Association (ACWA) course will allow you to gain hands-on experience as you learn to manage, coordinate and deliver life-changing services to individuals, groups and your wider community.
You'll learn specialised skills in Statutory & Forensics and Child, Youth and Family Welfare, as you master the skills and knowledge necessary to work with the children, youth and family's sector under the broad umbrella of community services. You'll also learn vital case-management skills, program coordination techniques and how to develop new concepts and support ideas.
Taught both on-campus and online over a two-year period, you'll learn to work autonomously under helpful directions from industry professionals. Working so closely with our expert teacher's means you'll gain the confidence needed to take on this rewarding industry, further enhancing your employment opportunities.
And once you've completed your qualification, there are so many opportunities for further growth. You'll provide direct support to individuals or groups while supervising other workers and volunteers.

This course is delivered with a combination of online and on campus workshops.
Applicants must complete a Language, Literacy and Numeracy test as well as a Pre-Training Review to determine whether they are suitable for this course. Applicants then must undertake an interview and also meet the below requirements:
