Diploma
If you're looking for a rewarding career in early childhood education, then look no further.
Designed for those already employed for a minimum of 15 hours week in an early childhood education setting, this workplace-based course will prepare you for higher-level roles in the sector where you supervise other staff and volunteers and give you the skills to support the wellbeing, learning and development of children younger than five.
Course content is delivered online using Moodle and you'll be supported by TAFE Gippsland teachers via email and on-site visits. As part of this course, you'll be required to attend regular online workshops throughout each term and to complete at least 280 hours of work in a regulated early childhood service.
Our Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care reflects the role of educators in early childhood education and care who work in children's education and care services, including long day centres, family day care, pre-schools and kindergartens.
You'll learn how to plan and implement educational programs in accordance with current legislation and requirements while watching children blossom into socially intelligent beings. What could be better?
