About this course

If music is your passion and you want to refine your skills, then advance your performance talent through this high level qualification. This course focuses on teaching you the skills required for performance, song arranging, composing and creating online events, home recordings and online musical collaboration.

During your studies, you will develop your analytical, performance and creative skills under the guidance of highly experienced industry lecturers and mentors. You will acquire skills in stagecraft and live performance, and learn techniques for networking with industry professionals, such as promotors, publishers, venue bookers, producers, artists and songwriters.

On completion of this course, you will have refined your skills as a songwriter and performer, and developed, produced and released your own recording product, which will be your calling card to the music industry.

  • Completion of CUA50820 Diploma of Music [Performance] (AC73) is required for entry into this course.

    To achieve this qualification, students must demonstrate competency in 15 units. These 16 are comprised of 4 core units and 11 elective units. Elective units listed below have been selected in consultation with industry.

    Students who enrol into this qualification will be eligible for credit transfer of the units that they have already achieved. Fees paid by international students are set on a commercial basis and are paid as a whole of course fee - no refund will apply to credit transfers.
