Develop your knowledge to the level where you can plan and supervise construction sites, prepare costs and schedules for a contract, use current building codes and standards, understand the legal requirements of contracts and works, read and interpret plans and specifications, identify and produce estimated costs and manage occupational health and safety on construction sites. Acquire a diverse range of skills to be able to project manage and coordinate the overall construction of low rise residential and commercial buildings, which may involve selecting contractors, overseeing work and liaising with clients. Please note that this course is based on Australian building codes and regulations. International students should consider if these regulations are applicable in their own country. An IELTS score (academic) of 6.0 with no band score less than 5.0 or equivalent.
Equivalent to Australian Year 11 with passes in Maths is required for entry into this course.

To achieve this qualification, students must demonstrate competency in 19 units. These 19 are comprised of 11 core units and 8 elective units. Elective units listed below have been selected in consultation with industry.
Students who enrol into this qualification will be eligible for credit transfer of the units that they have already achieved. Fees paid by international students are set on a commercial basis and are paid as a whole of course fee - no refund will apply to credit transfers.
